The Library
The Library is where your company's written knowledge lives — playbooks, policies, guides, notes. Docs here are searchable alongside your conversations, and any folder can become a public help center.
Writing
The editor covers the blocks documentation actually needs: headings, paragraphs, bulleted and numbered lists, tables, code blocks, images, links, and inline formatting. Docs auto-save as you type.
Start from scratch, or from a template — a few are built in, and any doc can be saved as a template for your team.
Organizing
Docs live in folders, nested up to five levels, arranged by drag-and-drop. The order you set is the order everywhere — including the sidebar of a published help center.
History & safety
- Version history — snapshots are taken automatically while you edit; view any version and restore it.
- Editing lock — while someone's editing, the doc is locked for others; locks expire after five minutes of inactivity, so nothing stays stuck.
- Comments — anchor a comment to a passage of text, thread the discussion, resolve it when settled.
Trust
Every doc can carry an owner, a verified stamp, and a review-due date — so "is this still true?" has an answer attached to the doc itself. Verification shows up wherever the doc does, including on published sites. See Verification.
In and out
- Markdown both ways — copy any doc as markdown, or create docs from markdown through the API and MCP.
- Chat previews — paste a doc link in chat and it unfurls into a preview card.
- Export — your docs are part of the workspace data export. No lock-in.
