Profile & notifications

Your profile, your presence, and how loudly Zerobuild is allowed to talk to you.

Profile & status

In Settings → Profile you set your display name and your status:

• Status type — online, away, busy, or do not disturb. Teammates see it next to your name everywhere.
• Status message — a short free-text line ("back Monday", "in onboarding calls") shown alongside the status.

Presence (the online/offline dot) is automatic — it tracks whether you're actually connected, on web or desktop.

Notification preferences

Settings → Notifications controls your personal defaults:

• Global mode — All notifications · Mentions only (@mentions and DMs) · DMs only · Nothing.
• Sound — toggle notification sounds.
• Channel mention suppression — mute the broad @channel-style mentions while keeping personal ones.
• Quiet hours — a daily window where notifications hold.

Each channel also has its own notification level (in the channel's menu), which overrides your global mode for that channel — useful for a busy channel you want quieter, or a critical one you never want to miss.

Workspace settings (admins)

Settings → Workspace holds the workspace name and the company email domain used for domain joins. Billing lives in its own section — see Billing & plans.
